Speaking and Training
Krista kicked off our monthly Networking@Night series in 2012 to a sold out event. She was seamlessly able to attract the attention of a noisy group of over 100 people and inspire them with her presentation. The increased confidence displayed by the business owners (who had received a short coaching session from Krista) when delivering their 60 second pitch, proved that she had got her point across. Judging by the rapid exchange of business cards after her presentation, Krista was in high demand for helping businesses further. Krista is not only highly skilled professional, she is also totally passionate about what she does – helping businesses and individuals maximize their potential. Brave Training will again be featuring in our events programme during 2013.
Claire Oxlade, Events Producer, Membership Services, NSW Business Chamber
Thank you for making the meeting soooo enjoyable. In 30 years, it was the best networking evening I have been to. Largely due to your talent and ability / skill to get people working together. I felt like I knew at least 6 people quite well by the end of the evening and another 6 to recognise the next one! Not bad for an evening of fun!
Penny Perkins, Options consulting, Australian Business Talent, NSW Business Chamber.
I particularly enjoyed your address to everyone about networking techniques... it certainly ‘broke the ice’ for all who attended ... it gave me a firm set of guidelines on how to conduct myself throughout the night... and for future events.
Stuart Rowe, Managing Director, Penrith Art Printing Works
The presentation was excellent and definitely made people move and engage. I believe 2012 will be a year of opportunity for the “brave” and I am sure you will take it head on!
Mark Moenting, Managing Director, Angus Marks Pty Ltd
You certainly got through to the audience ... the breakfast was truly remarkable and I have never been to one like it! ... A standing ovation at 8am is not an easy thing to get – and you got it!
Roy McCullagh, Senior Sales Manager, Merchant Court Hotel.
I wish to extend our sincere thanks to you for participating in our annual dinner at the Hotel Nikko. Your presentation was particularly well received by the delegates.
Jennie Pry, Australian Health Communicators Association
Our Annual Dinner at Darling Harbour this year was a highly successful event, with Rev Tim Costello as our keynote speaker. Also present were 375 ‘movers and shakers’ including high profile individuals such as the Hon Bruce Baird, Peter Pickles, Ross Cameron MP, Brendan Nelson MP and executives from Channel 7, Microsoft, Hyatt Hotel, Tyrells, Sydney Swans and the Wallabies. I thought Krista’s presentation was inspiring, very encouraging and very helpful to the purposes we set out to achieve.
David Bussau AM, Co-founder, Opportunity International, ABC’s Australian Story as the “Champion of the World”
I would like to take this opportunity to personally thank you for your willingness to deliver a closing address at the Opportunity International 2nd Annual Dinner. The presentation was warmly received and made a very positive impact on the audience. Feedback to date has commended your address as both inspiring and encouraging.
Denis Perry, CEO Opportunity International
Krista is a wonderful communicator and has, on both occasions when she has addressed audiences with which I am associated, been a great inspiration. Krista researches and enthusiastically presents her subject extremely professionally. Krista is a true professional. Everyone went away having been ‘built up’ and inspired.
Gary Price, MD, Materialised
Krista’s audience was varied, consisting of architects, solicitors, members of the police force and representatives from local council... With her energy and enthusiasm for the subject at hand she was able to capture her audience’s attention and, more importantly hold it for the duration of her presentation. I would have no hesitation in recommending her as a guest speaker to any organisation interested in offering an intelligent and informative presentation...
Noel Hadjimichael,
CEO City of Liverpool Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
The audience warmed to you instantly and you held them captivated... many members commented to me about your presentation, saying how refreshing it was and how it had motivated them..
Debra Silvey, Membership Manager, State Chamber of Commerce NSW

Michael Schoettler, speaker trainer consultant, Sense Sense
It was amazing to connect with you!...thank you for making a meaningful contribution... I very much enjoyed your presentation, your energy, enthusiasm, bravery, passion to teach, inspire, challenge and remind people how little things can make a huge difference in the quality of people’s lives. What you said is so true, “Networking is about solving other people’s problems.
Maximus Htat,Business Development, Mission Australia

In particular she has exercised considerable creativity and demonstrated great enthusiasm as well as a very strong commitment to the task of transforming to an exceptionally high standard, our total approach to promoting and communicating Training capabilities with the Raine & Horne Network.”

Robert Richards AM, Director, Construction and Transport Division TAFE NSW. previously Commander of HMAS VAMPIRE, Royal Australian Navy
Thank you for helping Rod with his GST presentation... We only had a very short lead time to prepare, so we were impressed – and grateful – that you were able to take a novice and turn him into a success in just three two hour sessions [winning for us a significant amount of ongoing business with a new client]
Mark Tinworth, Director, Spooner Tinworth Chartered Accountants
Krista’s class was a hands down favourite amongst the students due to her outstanding ability to consistently make the lecture creative, interesting and incredibly fun. In short, Krista is a brilliant teacher who always captured your interest.
Simone Lesley, Director, Success Partners, Advertising Certificate, TAFE NSW
“I found this presentation {"Pitching to Win"] to be very valuable as it was loaded with great tips on how to impress and relate to your audience. Possibly the only lecture where I have given 100% of my attention as you involved us".
Melissa Yen, 3rd year PR student, Macquarie University
“Dear Krista, thank you for the enthusiastic and enlightening presentation you gave at the Chambers Forum this week. Your passion for people and the way they can improve their public presentation techniques was contagious, everybody in the room was “buzzing”. The energy you injected into your session coupled with your obvious versatility made the afternoon entertaining as well as educational. I doubt if in lesser circumstances I would have been encouraged to do my 1 minute on stage in front of a couple of hundred strangers. I will now be more conscious of breathing before speaking. Thank you again and all the best with your own business endeavours.”
Rob Hamilton, Team Smart
Krista’s refined researching and analytical skills were evident as she collected, classified and organised an enormous amount of diverse material to form a base discussion document for senior officers of the Directorate. Compilation of this document involved Krista in delicate negotiations with officers within the Dept of Education. It is a testimony to her skills as a communicator that the material was obtained and the base document successfully completed.
As a staff member Krista was at all times co-operative, efficient and congenial. Her enthusiasm and dedication to her arduous task and her unfailing optimism in the face of adversity were a credit to her. I have no hesitation in recommending Krista Elliott to prospective employers seeking a staff member with commitment, intelligence, humanity and a capacity for hard work.
Dennis Foster, Senior Education Officer, Dept of Education.
